In 2017, the best Premier League teenage XI was named - where are they now?

In 2017, the best teenage XI in the Premier League was named by Sportskeeda.

Five years have now passed. So, what players made up the Premier League’s best teenage XI in 2017 and where are they now?

Goalkeeper: Curtis Anderson

In 2017, Anderson was on the books at Man City and was pivotal as England won the U17 World Cup.

But he left City in 2019 having not played a single game for the club. He went on to have stints with Charlotte Independence and Wycombe Wanderers and now plays for Lancaster City in the English seventh tier.

Left-back: Lewis Gibson

Left-midfield: Phil Foden

It’s fair to say Foden has fulfilled his potential. The Englishman has, at the time of writing, played 157 times for Manchester City and scored 42 times. He’s also helped them to three Premier League titles.

Still just 21, he’s already an incredible talent and will only get better.

Centre-midfield: Tom Davies

Davies is still at Everton, having made 158
