'I would gladly drive him to the airport', 'Please' - Many Leeds fans buzz over transfer claim
Leeds United fans have been reacting to the news that Rodrigo has been ‘offered’ to La Liga giants Barcelona this month.
The forward is after securing a place in the Spanish World Cup squad, so a move away from Elland Road may be the best bet.
As per Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are after someone who can be deployed down the middle as a nine or out wide as a winger – a bill that Rodrigo fits.
His potential exit was relayed to Leeds fans on Twitter via Leeds Xtra, with the fans delighted with the fact he could be on his way out.

He hasn’t had the best of seasons for Leeds, only scoring two goals in his 17 appearances so far, while failing to register an assist.
In defence of Rodrigo, he has played the majority of games in a rather unfamiliar midfield role for Marcelo Bielsa – a drastic change from where he’s played normally.
Rodrigo has played for Real Madrid Castilla before, so a move to Barcelona would see him switch El Clasico allegiances.
The only worry is, Leeds are yet to make any first-team signings this window, so there is a fear they could be leaving themselves short should no incomings arrive.
