'I wore specific outfit to job interview – it was the reason I landed the role'

However, according to one woman, the secret to success may lie in the choice of outfit. The lass, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared her theory on Reddit after revealing that she wore a specific outfit to a job interview - and landed the job.

In her post, she wrote: "I wore my husband's suit and got the job! I'm back! I listened to all of your lovely opinions, and went with my husband's suit for the interview! I got compliments from the interviewers on my outfit, which was cool. So here's to the new trend of wearing your husband's suit!"

She also posted a photo of the outfit, which consisted of an oversized blue suit paired with a cream-coloured T-shirt and neutral loafers. The overall look was effortless, modern and stylish. It was clear why the interviewers were impressed.
