'I was give a 10 per cent chance of falling pregnant again - then had quadruplets'
A mum who was told she had a 10 per cent chance of falling pregnant again was astonished when she fell pregnant - with quadruplets. Raquel Tolver, 33, has polycystic ovary syndrome - a condition which affects how the ovaries work - so was delighted when she had son Dreyson, now three.
But while trying for a second doctors discovered a cyst blocking her ovary, and said it would make it nearly impossible to fall pregnant again - around 10 per cent. After 18 months of trying she was delighted when she had a positive pregnancy test and weeks later a scan revealed she was actually expecting quads.
Raquel's waters broke at just 22 weeks - but doctors managed to delay delivery by three more crucial weeks. The full-time mum and her husband, welcomed Bryson, Amaya, Royce and Denzel on March 17, 2023, weighing between 1lbs 4oz to 2lbs each.

It was months before they were all able to come home but all are now thriving, in Tampa, Florida. Raquel from Tampa, Florida, said: "We were trying to conceive for well over a year and we were about to start fertility treatment.
"Doctors didn't think I would be able to give birth. I was given less than a 10 per cent chance and told it would be a very risky pregnancy.
"It has been nothing short of a miracle. Once we got pregnant we saw a lot of doctors who thought I wouldn't make it to term.
"The doctor saw one embryo and we were all very excited. The doctor moved his hands towards the right and it went from one embryo to three.
