'I was convinced he was cheating - when I found out the truth, it was too late'

A woman who suspected her husband was being unfaithful had a nasty surprise after ending the marriage, the Mirror reports.

She was left heartbroken after being told that her husband was talking to other women on dating apps and exchanging naked photos. But in a shocking twist, she later learnt it was actually a neighbour who was behind the dating profile which was used for 'catfishing'.

In an anonymous post on Reddit, she slammed the neighbour for robbing her family of "our love and happiness". She revealed that she hasn't been on speaking terms with her husband in over a year - but she's hoping to save the relationship now she knows the truth.

She took to Reddit's Relationship_Advice forum to explain her devastating situation and revealed they are currently "not on speaking terms". In her anonymous post, she explained that she had received a message on Facebook last September telling her that her "husband was talking and exchanging naked photos with other women on Tinder".

She then saw screenshots of the images of her 'husband's' exchange with the woman, the wife then downloaded Tinder and came across her 'husband's' profile - which also said his location was "nearby".

However, things took a turn when she decided to confront him. She wrote: "I was convinced that he was cheating, and we had a terrible fallout that evening which led to my family coming over to calm the situation, but instead, it escalated when my brother punched and grabbed hold of my husband.
