Launched in 1996, the perfume quickly become a mainstay in many fragrance collections and it's easy to see why. It was created by Ann Gottlieb, the nose behind popular Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera and Marc Jacob perfumes among others, and falls in the floral category.

The top notes are lilac, linden blossom, dewy magnolia, mandarin and bergamot. The heart notes are Bulgarian pink violet, ylang-ylang, jasmine, Indian tuberose, peach, carnation and nutmeg while the base notes are composed of amber, Tibetan musk, sandalwood, iris and vanilla.
