I've watched all of Paris Olympics 2024 on BBC - their coverage is letting Team GB athletes down
Ever since this summer's European Championships ended, I was counting down the days until the 2024 Paris Olympics kicked off.
Having the chance to watch so many different sports I would otherwise have no interest or real desire to follow taking place in one country over a four-week period is brilliant - and that is truly when you know you've developed Olympic fever.
Of course the likes of Tom Daley, Simone Biles, Max Whitlock and Eliud Kipchoge, all competing at the Games, are known to most, however there are thousands of unknown athletes all with a dream. Plenty of events, such as swimming, diving and gymnastics have all handed out medals with Team GB currently seventh in the standings.

While it has been exhilarating to see Daley and Adam Peaty return to diving and swimming respectively, and win silver medals, so much action has been unavailable to viewers in the United Kingdom. Despite a law being in place that should see the games remain on free-to-air television, the International Olympics Committee (IOC) found a creative loophole.
Though the BBC will receive 500 hours of live action, Warner Bros' Discovery have bought most of the rights with 3,800 hours available on the Discovery Plus app. Considering WBD will have nearly eight times as much of the coverage, the BBC are being forced into showing replays of crucial moments.
