As the cost of living crisis continues to see shoppers cut back on little luxuries, high street retailer New Look has launched a collection of fashion essentials that won’t break the bank. The range, called 'Obsessed for Less', officially launched today (August 15) and can see shoppers snap up a capsule wardrobe on a budget.

Designed specifically to combat the cost of living crisis, Obsessed for Less is a carefully curated collection that taps into the latest trends, starring ‘it-pieces’ with surprisingly affordable price tags.

New Look has previously been known to be one of the more affordable high street retailers anyway, but as customers find it difficult to navigate an ever-changing economic climate, this new initiative couldn’t have come at a better time.

A spokesperson for New Look said: “New Look is excited to unveil its latest initiative, 'Obsessed for Less,' a value price range designed to combat the cost-of-living crisis. With this collection, customers can enjoy stylish fashion at budget-friendly prices without compromising on quality.

“The release of this collection encourages consumers to ‘buy now wear later’ allowing customers to spread the cost throughout the Autumn/Winter season. The collection will be available both in-store and online, allowing consumers to shop with ease, without overspending.”

The range features everything from basic racerback vests to stylish jackets, including ‘desk to dinner’ staples and collegiate casual sweats, coming in sizes 6-22. Prices start from £1.99 and go up to £64.99 for a leather-look jacket, with selected pieces available in tall, petite and curve.
