“I think we’ll take the lead” – Luton Town fan pundit gives score prediction ahead of Chelsea FA Cup clash

The Championship side host Chelsea this evening in the Fifth Round of the famous cup competition. 

Luton go into the game in good form having won five of their last six league games.

Those results have put the side into an unlikely play-off place and a win tonight would also see them move into the quarter finals. 

Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their penalty shootout defeat in the League Cup final on Sunday.

But Bhundia believes that the 11-10 defeat will put them at a disadvantage going against the good form of Luton.

Bhundia also thinks that Chelsea could struggle to get up for the occasion because the home atmosphere will be bouncing due to Luton’s recent run of form. 

“Tough one, but I think we’ll get a draw. I think it’ll be 1-1,” Bhundia told Football League World.

“I think we’ll take the lead and then Chelsea will get one back late.

“I just think that we’ve got a lot of belief at the minute and Chelsea, obviously coming off the back of the Carabao Cup loss, will psychologically be a little bit shot and I think we can take advantage of that under home lights. 

“With the kind of form we’ve been in recently, we’ve got a lot of momentum.”

Thomas Tuchel has a great cup record with Chelsea having won the Champions League last season, plus this year’s Super Cup and Club World Cup.

They have also reached two domestic cup finals in his 13 months in charge. 

Chelsea will certainly be the favourites, but their recent form in the Premier League has also been mixed which should give Luton confidence they can take a result.
