"I think" - talkSPORT reporter now drops big Raphinha claim at Leeds United

Leeds winger Raphinha will leave Elland Road this summer, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

The £63,000 per-week star has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in recent months and has reportedly made his feelings public about moving to the Nou Camp.

According to reports in Spain, the Leeds winger has already told those around him that he wants to join Barcelona.

The report stages that Barcelona is his ‘most likely destination’, although their financial problems could open the door for the Gunners, who are trying to strengthen their squad after missing out on finishing fourth.

The north Londoners are yet to make a formal offer for the Leeds ace, but Crook expects Raphinha to leave Elland Road in some capacity this summer.

When asked about potential incomings at Leeds, he told GIVESPORT: “I think they need someone because Bamford had a wretched year with injuries, I’m still not convinced by Rodrigo, and I think Raphinha will go. One of the reasons Barcelona are willing to cash in on De Jong is to try and raise funds to get him.”
