“I think it would be very reactionary” – QPR fan pundit gives his verdict on Mark Warburton’s future

Despite sitting only three points from the play-offs, QPR are in a bad run of form having lost all four of their previous four league games.

This season has seen QPR climb up the table and make progress from last season but following their poor form, they have now dropped out of the play-off spots to ninth in the league.

With six games still to go this season, QPR can still make it to the play-offs but with a few of the teams around them having games in hand, they will have to be at the top of their form to do so which would require a big shift from their current ways.

Furthermore, a loss to fifth place Sheffield United last night may suggest that the R’s are not strong enough to be able to compete with the teams around them in the table.

As a result of their form, questions are being raised over the future of manager Mark Warburton. We asked FLW’s QPR fan pundit Charlie if he thinks it is time for Warburton to go.

He said: “I honestly don’t think it’s the right time to sack Mark Warburton and relieve him from duties as QPR first team manager.

“It’s been a season that showed so much promise and yet sadly I think now come the end of the season, QPR won’t end up in the play-offs and there’s many factors that can draw to that conclusion.

“You’d like to have thought that the position we were in at Christmas time that we’d be ending up in the play-offs and as I mentioned that can come down to a lack of investment in January, maybe some inexperience with this group of players and some younger players that
