"I'm told" – Source today reveals manager set to "go all out" to secure Manchester United job

Mauricio Pochettino is very aware that his time at PSG is coming to an end and could go all out to become the next Manchester United manager, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Pochettino’s PSG side were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid on Wednesday following a 17-minute collapse at the Santiago Bernabeu, which could prove the final straw for him in the French capital.

PSG’s Champions League exit capped off what’s been a pretty woeful 14 months for Pochettino at the Parc des Princes.

Despite being on the verge of winning the French title, the former Tottenham manager was brought in to end their painful wait to claim Europe’s top prize, which he’s been unable to achieve.

According to the Telegraph, United, who are already on the lookout for a new manager with Ralf Rangnick only in charge on an interim basis, are set to go all out to try and appoint Pochettino, who’s expected to be sacked by PSG, although it’s unclear whether that could happen in the coming days or this summer.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “The Pochettino to Man United rumours can now be ramped up because I’m told he’s very aware that his time at PSG is now coming to an end.

“He has huge ambition, big belief in his ability, and I think he’ll go all out now to let United know he wants the chance to become their next manager.”
