'I'm a fashion editor - the most brilliant clothing and homeware pop-up store is coming to Manchester this weekend'

But this weekend, a pop-up concept is opening in the Arndale's Urban Outfitters store, and it's enough to convince me. I'd go so far as to say it's probably one of the best concepts I've seen this year, and my bank balance is already shaking in its boots having seen what will be on offer.

If, like me, you can't wait to splash your cash there, you'll be able to find it at Urban Outfitters in the Manchester Arndale on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August.

OURHOOD COMMUNITY was created by childhood friend Michel Thomas & Michael Taylor in the turbulent summer of 2020. It was born from a desire to take action to address social injustice and reward talent in the Black community by providing a platform for Black creatives to reach new customers.

Committed to working with labels which are rich in style and culture the Manchester pop-up will include home grown Manchester based brand Hoods Footwear, Silue, Warm Studios, Little Sister vintage clothing, Porscha Hill Natural Dye Studios, Face, Dear Katiopae, Lailite Candles, Ace & Prince and Fore, as well as Ourhood Community apparel.
