I'm A Celebrity viewers left in disbelief as they share anger seconds before end of episode after missed 'warning'

I'm A Celebrity... South Africa viewers couldn't believe what they were saying as they rushed to complain seconds before the end of the latest episode. The spin-off of the hit ITV reality show was back on screens on Tuesday night (May 2) and there was an elimination to kick things off.

At the end of Monday night's episode, viewers saw Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly reveal that an exit was on the horizon and the decision of who goes was in the campmates' hands. The string of I'm A Celebrity's most memorable campmates, who have returned to take part in the first-ever pre-recorded edition of the show, had to take part in a secret ballot for the first time in the show’s history.

And it was Amir Khan who became the third contestant to be eliminated from the new camp in South Africa's Kruger National Park. The former professional boxer said he had had a "great experience" on the show, having overcome his fears of spiders and snakes, but that it was now "time for me to go".

But his fellow campmates appeared surprised and saddened by the decision while I'm A Celeb viewers flocked to social media to complain and even threatened to 'switch off'.

Elsewhere in the episode, Carol Vorderman and Fatima Whitbread took part in the Tanks Of Torment challenge. The former Countdown presenter was made to swim through the four sections of the tank collecting stars, which contained various aquatic creatures.

But Carol was unable to fully complete the challenge after a snake made its way into the final air hole, saying: "It’s the one time in my life I’ve been like this about a phobia." Despite her fears, she still collected seven stars for the camp. "My one real fear is
