'I find it hard to believe' - Journalist drops big Everton takeover claim after development

Journalist Paul Brown has claimed that he does not see the Kaminski group taking over Everton Football Club due to the valuation set by Moshiri.

Although there have been rumours stating that Premier League side Everton are not going to be pursuing their talks with Kenyon any further, another source has said that close family to the Kaminski group have claimed that the talks with the club are ongoing regarding a potential takeover.

The Toffees struggled immensely last term, it was clear that the issues off the field had a major impact on it, after they only managed to survive relegation to the Championship by four points.

Despite the reports stating that the talks are ongoing between Kaminski and Everton over a potential takeover, Brown claimed to GiveMeSport that there has been a breakdown in the talks because of the valuation set by Moshiri.

“I find it hard to believe that the Kaminski group are going to end up owning Everton.

“There seems to have been a bit of a breakdown in talks there. They don’t agree with Moshiri’s valuation of the club at all,” Brown said.

Everton have made just one signing this summer, and this has been James Tarkowski on a free transfer from Burnley, so this could be a worrying sign for the Toffees faithful after they had such a poor season last term. But they have just sold Richarlison for £60 million, so they might be able to use some of that money to invest in the rest of the squad.

However, with the current situation with the ownership up in the air, it makes things difficult in terms of spending money, so the club will want to sort their situation with the owners out as soon as possible so that they can start to buy players to improve the squad.
