Hull FC team news as Brett Hodgson forced to leave out key man

Brett Hodgson has made one change to his squad to take on Wakefield Trinity on Sunday afternoon. The Black and Whites will travel to West Yorkshire in the hope of extending their fine run of recent form, but they’ll have to do so without Carlos Tuimavave.

The centre picked up a small knock last time out against Wigan Warriors and he won’t be risked for the clash at Belle Vue. However, both Ligi Sao and Jordan Lane have overcome their respective knee and shoulder injuries in time to be named in the squad.

They’ll both hope to be fit enough to keep their spot in the side and make an impact this weekend. Brad Fash is also involved after missing FC’s last game due to concussion protocols.

The forward took a huge blow to the head against St Helens and was sent to hospital to be given the all-clear. He comes back into the squad this weekend and he’ll be keen to pick up where he left off.

Cam Scott will be hoping to do the same after overcoming the ankle injury he has missed the last three months of Super League with. The centre featured for the reserves last week against Wakefield and he will hope to have caught Hodgson’s eye with a try-scoring performance.

Jake Connor, Adam Swift, Josh Griffin, Darnell McIntosh, Josh Reynolds, Luke Gale, Ligi Sao, Danny Houghton, Chris Satae, Manu Ma'u, Jordan Lane, Joe Lovodua, Brad Fash, Kane Evans, Jack Brown, Jordan Johnstone, Josh Bowden, Connor Wynne, Cam Scott, Jamie Shaul, Scott Taylor.
