Beyond the financial relief, the scheme aims to instill a sense of pride and belonging in young players as they step onto the pitch.

Paul Kirton, the founder of Team Grassroots, emphasised that for many clubs, kit replacement is a heavy seasonal burden, making opportunities like this vital for the survival of youth sports.
