How to watch Sheriff Tiraspol vs Manchester United - TV channel and live stream details

Manchester United travel to Moldova for their next Europa League match against Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday night.

Erik ten Hag would not have been pleased with what he saw from his side during their opening 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad in the competition last week. Despite the controversial penalty award that decided the game, the performance of his players was not at a level the Dutchman would have accepted.

Casemiro and Cristiano Ronaldo both started for United against their La Liga opposition, and although their performances left much to be desired, they will both be hoping for another opportunity to show Ten Hag what they can do as they settle into his new philosophy.

Due to last weekend's Premier League postponements, as well as the cancellation of Leeds' visit to Old Trafford, Ten Hag might not rotate his side as much as expected. Players will be keen to keep getting as many minutes as possible as they look to maintain their momentum - yet with an elongated break, fans might see a stronger starting XI than first thought.

Sheriff are by no means an easy opponent, having beaten both Shakhtar donetsk and Real Madrid in the Champions League last year. The Moldovan side currently sit top of Group E, after their 3-0 win over Omonia last week, as Ten Hag knows that there is no room for complacency in this competition.

The Zimbru Stadium, home for Zimbru Chisinau and the Moldova international team, will host United's Europa League match tonight. The capacity is 10,400, and United expect approximately 600 travelling fans to brave the 1,400 mile trip to the Moldovan capital.
