Manchester United have been in fine form during their pre-season so far and Erik ten Hag's side will be able to test themselves against Premier League opposition once again.

United have scored 11 goals in three games as life under their new Dutch manager has got off to the best start possible. The Reds have beaten Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace without ever looking troubled and have only conceded two goals as they approach their last match in Australia.

Ten Hag's side have swapped Melbourne for Perth as they made the four-hour journey to Australia's west coast where they will come up against Aston Villa this weekend. Villa will be the third (and final) Premier League side that United will face during pre-season and if they can maintain their winning record, it will no doubt give the whole side a confidence boost ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Reds only managed to take one point from their two matches against Steven Gerrard's side last campaign and although this is only pre-season, a win here will go a long way in showing how far they have progressed under their new manager.

The game will be held at the Optus Stadium, Perth - with a capacity of 60,000.
