Manchester United return to Premier League action for the first time in a fortnight after lifting the Carabao Cup as well as ensuring Europa League and FA Cup progression in consecutive midweeks.

Last time out in the league, United won 3-0 against Leicester City at Old Trafford, but face an altogether different challenge this weekend when visiting Anfield to face Liverpool. Despite being beaten 5-2 there by Real Madrid in their Champions League round of 16 first leg, Jurgen Klopp's side are unbeaten across their last four Premier League matches.

After winning the reverse fixture 2-1, United have an opportunity to do the Premier League double over their northwest rivals for the first time in seven years. Louis van Gaal was the last United manager to win each league meeting with Liverpool in a season and is also the most recent boss to do so during their first campaign in charge.

Kick-off on Sunday is at 11:30am ET and 8:30am PT.

USA Network are broadcasting the match on their TV channel. Premier League Mornings beings their coverage of the day's games at 8am before Nottingham Forest versus Everton kicks off an hour later, and pre-match coverage resumes at 11am after the conclusion of that match for the final half an hour before kick-off at Anfield. Telemundo are also providing Spanish language programming.

Defender Luke Shaw is a doubt with what Ten Hag claims is a "small injury" that saw the left-back sidelined for the midweek FA Cup tie with West Ham United alongside Jadon Sancho, who also missed that match through illness. Anthony Martial, Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek are all still sidelined with their respective injuries.
