How to get tickets for Morrisey in Manchester

Manchester singer songwriter Morrissey has announced a UK tour and tickets for his Manchester gig go on sale today at 9.30am.

The 63-year-old singer will play in Blackpool, Doncaster, Glasgow, Birmingham, Stockton, twice in London and Brighton as well as his hometown gig in Manchester's O2 Apollo.

Tickets for the event will go on general sale at 9.30am on Thursday 23 June on Ticketmaster here.

The Davyhulme-born performer has enjoyed 16 albums in the UK top ten, plus 9 top ten albums with his former group The Smiths. The Irish Blood, English Heart hitmaker will perform 10 dates on the newly-announced tour, which will start on September 24 in Killarney, South West Ireland.

The tour will include two London dates at two iconic venues – The Palladium and O2 Academy Brixton, as well as a homecoming show for the Stretford-raised star at Ardwick's 02 Apollo on October 4.

Tickets for all of the UK dates will go on general sale on Thursday June 23 at 9.30am. These can be found via Ticketmaster.
