How to buy tickets for Maidstone United’s FA Cup fourth-round tie at Ipswich Town | The Stones take up full allocation of 4,480 seats at Portman Road

Tickets for Maidstone’s FA Cup fourth-round match at Ipswich are set to go on sale this week.

The Stones have taken up their full allocation of 4,480 tickets for the tie at Portman Road on Saturday, January 27 (12.30pm).

Away fans will be seated in the upper tier of the Cobbold Stand, as well as Block S of the lower tier.

Tickets, priced £10 adults, £5 OAPs/under-23s and £3 under-19s, go on sale to season ticket holders from Wednesday to Friday, with a general sale starting on Saturday.

Stones director of operations Bob Gouldson said: “If you include the time of the old club, then this is a day that’s 127 years in the making and it’s one that so many people want to be a part of.

“We have been inundated with calls, emails and texts.

“The demand is such that the owners have opted to take the full allocation and from Wednesday it’s over to you guys, starting with our season ticket holders, to come and purchase your tickets.

“All this is unchartered territory for us and we would like to thank the team at Ipswich Town, who have been really helpful and rejigged the away area to accommodate as many of our supporters as possible.

“The tickets have also been set at a very reasonable price, which will help after all that Christmas expenditure.

“Let me thank the team here in advance for putting in the hours over the next week or so to sell these. We look forward to seeing all of you in the coming days.”

Wednesday’s sale is subject to tickets being couriered to the Gallagher in time.
