How to avoid overpaying for Arctic Monkey tickets on Ticketmaster

The Arctic Monkeys are coming to Manchester next year as part of their newly announced 2023 UK and Ireland tour. But as thousands of people are expected to buy tickets later in the week, fans should be weary not to overpay for standard tickets.

The rock band will play at Manchester's Etihad Stadium in Old Trafford on June 2, 2023 for which fans will be able to get tickets from this Friday, September 30 on Ticketmaster and SeeTickets. For fans who are a little more eager presale opens on Thursday, September 29, and is only available if you order their new album 'The Car' through the bands official website.

We will have to wait until later on in the week to get an idea just how much the tickets will cost, but considering the hype surrounding the announcement, demand to see the band is expected to be high.

Ticketmaster's demand based pricing system has caused a stir recently, as it forces some fans to pay triple the amount to others for the same tickets. And the same is expcted to happen with Arctic Monkeys as demand increases.

Majority of hotels in the area also have limited availability as people buy accommodation before the tickets go on sale, and the demand is pushing the price way above average. One of the only hotels with availability for that night is the Trafford Hall Hotel. On any given night the average price per standard room is between £69 - £89, on the night Arctic Monkeys are playing it has jumped in price to £279 per room, per night.
