How Manchester United should line up vs Watford in Premier League fixture

Manchester United welcome Watford to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

United drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night thanks to Anthony Elanaga's late equaliser in the Spanish capital.

That goal from the youngster means United head into this match having gone five games unbeaten after their shock FA Cup defeat to Middlesbrough. United sit fourth in the Premier League but fifth-placed Arsenal do have two games in hand.

United lost 4-1 to Watford when the sides last met at Vicarage Road and that was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's final game in charge.

Watford have only won one game since beating United in November and they're heavy candidates for relegation.

It needs to be all change at full-back after midweek. Diogo Dalot's absence from the line-ups in Leeds and Madrid was odd and Luke Shaw's performance level has not been high enough this month, so Alex Telles deserves a start.

With Scott McTominay still unwell, Nemanja Matic should come in to bring balance to the midfield. Paul Pogba was having a decent month until Madrid and could be the game-changer in the second-half. It is a quirk of his career he tends to get outperformed by compatriots - Geoffrey Kondogbia was the latest in midweek - and Moussa Sissoko could start for Watford.
