Manchester United have been linked with Xavi amid pressure on Erik ten Hag sparking speculation about potential changes to the starting line-up.

Despite Ten Hag being permitted to bring in new signings worth £200m over the summer, the club is yet to hit top form and they could struggle to finish in the Premier League's top four this term. United are still languishing in the lower half of the table, even after their victory over Brentford on Saturday, and have netted fewer league goals than Wolves, who are currently at the bottom of the table.
