How Man City should line up vs Newcastle United in Premier League

Manchester City must put the disappointment of the Real Madrid defeat behind them to get back on track in the Premier League against Newcastle on Sunday.

City's hopes of winning the Champions League ended in dramatic circumstances, but they can still make a success of the season by winning the Premier League and they are four games away from retaining their title. Up next is Newcastle, who appear safe from relegation but restricted Liverpool to just a 1-0 win last week.

Pep Guardiola could be without Kyle Walker after he limped off against Real Madrid, while John Stones is another doubt after missing the trip to Spain.

There is no update on Kyle Walker but as he limped off the pitch on Wednesday he did not look like a man that could turn around and go again at the weekend. That shouldn't matter because both Oleks Zinchenko and Nathan Ake have been in form, and given City will have the bulk of play I'd go for Zinchenko.

Kevin De Bruyne is fit to play and should be backed again to make the difference despite a quiet night at the Bernabeu, and Bernardo Silva and Rodri also have the engines to rev up again. Gabriel Jesus was the weakest of the front three against Real and Raheem Sterling could be invaluable in breaking down the Newcastle attack.
