How Man City could make £100m profit this summer with six transfer exits
A report on Monday suggested that Manchester City could begin their Premier League title defence with no additions to their squad over the summer.
City are linked with a handful of names this summer, including Bruno Guimaraes and Joshua Kimmich, but the close-season has been quiet for the first month since the end of the season.
As most of their players are firmly focussing on international tournaments, transfer talk is predictably slow, so it's hardly a surprise that the rumour mill has taken its time to whir into action.

The futures of Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Ederson remain unresolved, with each linked with exits. Whether those rumours translate into concrete interest is another matter, and it may be later in the summer before that becomes apparent.
Assuming those players stay, and City would presumably be happy to continue with a squad who won a fourth-straight Premier League and were unlucky to go out of the Champions League to the eventual winners.
Troyes' on-loan Girona winger Savio has been expected to sign for City for a while now, but his involvement with Brazil at the Copa America means there is unlikely to be movement on that front for another few weeks. Troyes spent between £5-10m on a player who has never played for them, and while his form for Girona would increase his value, it remains to be seen by how much.
So all eyes could be instead on who leaves.
