How is Tommy Fury related to Tyson Fury?

One is the WBC world heavyweight champion. The other is a former reality TV star with a undefeated professional record in the ring of 7-0.

Tyson Fury and Tommy Fury are boxers and family members who make headlines for different reasons.

But how are they related?

The pair are half-brothers who share the same dad, John, but have different mothers.

Tyson is the older of the two by 11 years and is currently helping his younger sibling train for the aforementioned Paul fight.

However, when asked, Tommy was resistant to the comparisons, confessing that he believed he was a "nobody".

He said: "This is my life. It’s all I have ever worked for.

“I trained as an amateur, running in the dark nights, in the cold mornings for stuff like this; media workouts, public workouts, big fights, big stages, and now it's about to happen.

"Everyone who knows me will tell you I’m a quiet kid, keep myself to myself, go about my business, train hard and that’s it, nothing more to it. No big things in my life.”

John Fury has five kids in total and two others, Shane and Roman, have connections to the sport of boxing.

Shane, younger brother of Tyson, is often seen accompanying the world heavyweight champion at fights while Roman turned pro in 2020.

Tyson also has a first cousin Hughie who has a professional record of 26 wins and 3 losses from 29 fights.
