How can you watch Liam Smith vs Chris Eubank Jr 2? Date, live stream, undercard and time details
Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr will face off once again next weekend just seven months on from their last clash.
The domestic rivals met in the ring in January in a bout that saw Smith make a major statement by knocking out Eubank Jr in the fourth round despite being a significant underdog heading into the fight. Eubank Jr is now out for revenge after activating an immediate rematch clause with the Liverpudlian fighter.
The first fight was expected to be a big challenge for Smith, with him making the step up to middleweight for the fight. They both weighed in at 11st 5lbs at a now infamous news conference.
A host of controversy exists between the two from their news conference ahead of their first fight making the headlines over comments both fighters made toward one another and Eubank's comments late last year in which he claimed he could beat Smith while 'at 50%'.
Boxxer promoter Ben Shalom has also described the rivalry as "one of the most heated in British boxing". The re-match was meant to happen earlier but Smith suffered an injury in the build-up which caused a lengthy delay.
It was originally scheduled for June 17 and then July 1 but it was postponed once again to enable Smith to get back to full fitness. The Liverpool fighter, a former WBO light-middleweight champion, has won 33 fights, with three defeats and one draw. Eubank Jr has won 32 fights with three losses.
The fight will take place on Saturday, September 2 at The AO Arena in Manchester. The event is set to start at 6pm.
Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr will make their ring walks at 10pm UK time with the clash expected to get underway from 10:15pm.
