How Blackburn Rovers’ record after 39 games in 2021/22 compares to last season

Despite a recent dip in form with one win, one draw and three losses in their previous five games, Blackburn currently sit sixth in the league in a play-off spot.

They are only two points clear of Middlesbrough who have two games in hand over them so if they are to find themselves in the play-offs come the end of the season, they will need to continue to work hard and get results in their final seven games of the season after the international break.

Last season Blackburn finished 15th in the league so we thought we’d have a look and compare where Blackburn are now after 39 names and where they were after the same number of games last season.

After 39 games last season, Blackburn sat 15th in the table and were 17 points away from the play-offs so ultimately at this stage of the season, were out of the race to make it showing us clearly that Blackburn are an improved side this season.

Blackburn’s home form has significantly improved this season which could be related to the return of fans to stadiums this season.

At this point in the season they have currently won double the amount of home games than they
