Hollyoaks' Chelsee Healey fights tears as she breaks silence after Dancing On Ice exit and says 'I've had a lot to deal with'
Chelsee Healey has been seen fighting tears as she spoke out days after her exit from Dancing On Ice and explained her emotional appearance by saying she's 'had a lot to deal with'.
The Hollyoaks actress became the first celebrity to be voted off the 2025 series during week two of the ITV skating competition last Sunday (January 19).
The 36-year-old and her professional skating partner Andy Buchanan ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard last weekend with a score of 22 from the judges after the first batch of contestants had performed.
Once the remaining celebrities competed on Sunday, she found herself in the bottom two against comedian Josh Jones, who picked up a score of 20.5 earlier in the night for his routine. As the judges’ scores and public vote for each dance across the two shows were combined, it was announced Healey had the lowest score and would be leaving the competition.
After host Holly Willoughby delivered the news, Chelsee praised her dance partner Buchanan for being "amazing" and said she "couldn’t have done it without him". She added: "I feel, personally, there’s been a lot going on with me that I’ve been struggling with, so I couldn’t completely focus. I’m just really grateful, I’ve had the best time."
Days on and Chelsee has shared a message to her followers on social media. She wrote alongside pictures of her in her Dancing On ice glam and two videos of her speaking directly to her fans, she wrote: "Had so many messages about Dancing on ice Thankyou Everyone for the Support.
"Just know i am where i need to be. Just a little context of how i have been feeling with the 2 videos, I have had a lot to deal with and God Knew i needed to just take time for Myself and Be at home With My Girls. A Smile
