Hogwarts Legacy Pre-Order Bonuses: What are they?

Hogwarts Legacy has revealed a host of pre-order bonuses as well as early access.

The new Portkey Games release is set to transport players into the world of wizards and spells.

You’ll be taken back to the 1800s in the upcoming game, and you’ll be given the chance to explore the iconic school of witchcraft and wizardry.

It’s a truly open-world experience, meaning players can explore locations such as the corridors of Hogwarts, Hogsmeade Village, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest.

We’ve seen a variety of gameplay clips, showing off the combat between your character and some wizarding zombies, as well as goblins who will do battle with you.

The game was first announced in 2020 but has been delayed somewhat, and now has a release date of February 10, 2023.

But the first night of Gamescom saw that release date formally announced, as well as some pre-order bonuses.

First of all, it’s been confirmed that pre-ordering the Digital Deluxe Edition will grant you 72 hours early access to the game, meaning you can start your wizarding journey on February 7th, 2023.

That goes for PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms; the release date without pre-ordering is the 10th.

The trailer was primarily focused on Slytherin and a storyline in which two students try to find the roots of Salazar Slytherin, to the chagrin of adults at Hogwarts.

And the pre-order bonuses seem to focus on Slytherin as well; it isn’t clear yet if there will be further editions based on the other three houses.

The announcement reveals that there is a Dark Arts Pack bundled with the Digital Deluxe Edition, with the following unlockables. Pre-orders begin on August 25th.
