Hoffenheim move into Bundesliga top four

Hoffenheim have found themselves in the rarefied air of the top-four in the Bundesliga after a superb comeback secured a late 2-1 win at Wolfsburg.

RB Leipzig can reclaim fourth place in the weekend's final game at Hertha Berlin on Sunday but Andrej Kramaric was the hero for Hoffenheim on Saturday with his 78th minute winner.

Jonas Wind had broken the deadlock for Wolfsburg with a stunning first-time finish but in the second half, the visitors secured a late comeback win with Jacob Bruun Larsen pulling out a scissor-kick to equalise before Croatian Kramaric sealed the triumph.

"It wasn't easy of course, especially after falling behind. We showed good mental strength once again," said Kramaric.

Freiburg, however, were not happy with Hoffenheim's late win, as it kicked them out of the top four despite their 2-1 win at Augsburg.

Niels Petersen's early opener was cancelled out by Michael Gregoritsch's finish on the counter, but Freiburg secured the three points before the break when Nico Schlotterbeck slotted it home after keeper Rafal Gikiewicz palmed the ball onto his feet.

"It hurts. Maybe I could have reacted better. I try to remain positive, but when you concede two, three goals every week, it damages your self-confidence," the goalkeeper said.

Bochum, fresh from thrashing Bayern Munich last weekend, could only secure a 1-1 draw at relegation-threatened Stuttgart thanks to a late penalty in added time to cancel out Armel Bella Kotchap's own goal.

Masaya Okugawa scored the winner in Arminia Bielefeld's 1-0 win over Union Berlin, who missed the chance of joining the top four.
