Highlights of Juan Mata's time at Chelsea are pure poetry in motion

The Premier League has always been home to some of the greatest footballers the planet has to offer.

Throughout the years, English pitches have been graced by some supreme talent, the likes of which may never be seen again.

However, while those once-in-a-lifetime stars hogged the limelight, the English top-flight also quietly played host to some of the most underrated ballers around.

That, perhaps, is no more exemplified than when it comes to Spanish maestro, Juan Mata.

His return of 32 and 58 assists in 135 appearances for the club speaks for itself.

You can check out the footage of that brilliant Chelsea spell below:

Incredible – every time you think it can’t get any better, it does.

Mata at his best was pure poetry in motion and so it is baffling to see what became of him after he made the move to Manchester United.
