For the fifth time in six seasons, the Kansas City Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl, this time following a 32-29 AFC Championship Game win against the Buffalo Bills.

After weathering a furious comeback and late-game performances from a cast of Bills including Josh Allen, James Cook, Mack Hollins and Jordan Phillips, the Chiefs stayed the course for a third consecutive Super Bowl berth and a chance for an unprecedented three-peat.

Patrick Mahomes scored two rushing touchdowns in the same game for the first time in his career and added another through the air to outduel Allen, the league MVP favorite. Allen, meanwhile, completed 22 of 34 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns. But the difference came as the Chiefs' defense stood tall on Allen's quarterback sneaks. The Chiefs converted 5 of 9 third-down conversions and another fourth-down conversion, while the Bills were 5-of-14 on third down and 4-of-6 on fourth down.

With the win, the Chiefs will square off against the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch, while the Bills have to stew in more postseason heartbreak.
