The versatile Katrine Veje can play at full-back, in midfield or on the wing. She has been a stalwart for Denmark, racking up 140 appearances since her debut in 2009.

The 30-year-old is used to winning – she won the Women’s Super League with Arsenal in 2019, and also has two Swedish league and two Danish league titles to her name. Veje currently plays for FC Rosengård.

Alexandra Popp has made 113 international appearances for her country, scoring 53 goals. She returned to the national team set-up in April after a year on the sidelines with a knee injury, and is set to feature at her second Euros.

The 31-year-old has played at Wolfsburg for the majority of her career, winning the Women’s Champions League on three occasions with the club.

Simone Magill made her senior debut for Northern Ireland at the age of just 15. She has since made 68 more appearances, scoring 21 goals.

The 27-year-old even has the record for the fastest goal in a women’s international football match, hitting the back of the net after just 11 seconds against Georgia in 2016.
