'He said all his ex's were psychos, but it was him who was the psycho'

When Karla Wilson met Lewis Greenwood, she thought she'd found the love of her life. But within just months, her dreams turned into nightmares and she found herself fearing for her life in a hotel.

The NHS administrator, 33, met Greenwood, 38, through mutual friends and they connected on Facebook. Karla, a mum-of-one, thought Lewis was her dream man who was attentive, devoted and keen to start a family.

She described how he showered her with affection, wrote her letters, and would show up at her gym, saying it was 'nice' at the beginning, but looking back 'there were a lot of red flags', reports Lancs Live.

"He was obsessed with me - and not in a nice way," she said. "He knew everything about my life. He'd been looking at my Facebook for years. He lied about his age and lied about his name - I knew him as Lewis Seaz. He was very good at manipulating."

"He isolated me from friends and family, saying it was just me and him against the world. He talked about our future and made me feel like I was the woman for him but it was very controlling, like 'do you want to have another baby', but I'd only known him a few months. I didn't know him at all really."

She described one evening where Greenwood was 'horrible' and controlling to her while the pair were out with Karla's parents. "I got up to dance, and said 'come on Mum, we'll have a dance.' He said, 'you won't. The bass player keeps staring at you. You dare stand up, I'll kill you.'".

"I wasn't allowed to do anything," she added. "I got slapped around the face for looking at a man who was wearing a bright yellow
