'He's a bit horrible' - Unsung Man United signing hailed as catalyst for comeback win vs Man City
Manuel Ugarte has been deemed a catalyst for Manchester United's stunning comeback vs Manchester City.
The Uruguay regular moved to Old Trafford from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee that could rise to £50.7million. The defensive midfielder has no goals or assists in his opening 11 Premier League matches.
The 23-year-old has had a slow start to his time in Manchester. He was brought in by Erik ten Hag - and struggled making an initial impact. Under Ruben Amorim, he did pick up an assist in United's 3-2 Europa League victory over Bodo/Glimt, but Ugarte still wasn't the star he was at PSG - yet that might have now changed.

He shone on his Manchester derby debut where United stunned City as they scored two late goals to defeat the Premier League champions. His performance came as a shock to ex-Watford striker Troy Deeney.
He put Ugarte in his Team of the Week and told BBC Sport: "He has really, really surprised me. I know it's still early days under the new manager, but Ugarte has a bit of bite about him.
"He's a bit horrible and, even at 1-0 down, he was making important tackles, blocks and getting attacks started.
"I thought he was the catalyst as to why they went on to win. I thought if it wasn't for him they wouldn't actually be in the game. An underrated performance that only his teammates will appreciate."
United captain Bruno Fernandes also commended his teammate's performance as he called the Uruguay regular "unstoppable" - a tag he outlined by winning four tackles and recording a 95 per cent pass accuracy in the match.
Ugarte, himself, admitted it was his best United
