Harry Kane 'open to Mauricio Pochettino reunion' and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Harry Kane is reportedly open to reuniting with Mauricio Pochettino should his former Tottenham boss take over at Manchester United.

Pochettino remains one of the frontrunners to be named United’s permanent manager in the summer, with Ajax boss Erik ten Hag also a candidate for the post.

Reports in France have suggested Pochettino could leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, leaving the door open for him to make the move to Old Trafford.

And should he make his return to the Premier League, he could well bring his former Tottenham talisman with him if recent reports are anything to go by.

The Telegraph suggest Kane is viewed as a potential leader, with United having previously been linked with the England captain.

The report claims sources close to Kane have said he would be keen to work with Pochettino again, although making the move away from Tottenham would be complicated.

Kane came close to joining United’s neighbours Manchester City last summer but saw his move scuppered as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy held firm.

Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard could reportedly snub a move to Tottenham in favour of heading abroad.

Lingard looks set to leave United at the end of the season as he reaches the end of his deal at Old Trafford.
