Harry Kane has left the door open for further speculation surrounding his club future after refusing commit himself to Tottenham Hotspur for the long-term.

Last summer was a particularly turbulent one for Kane given he shone for England at Euro 2020 in an effort that saw the Three Lions reach the final of a major tournament for the first time since the 1966 World Cup. However, his name was also relentlessly linked with a switch sway from boyhood club Spurs in favour of a move to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

While on England duty for the upcoming Three Lions friendlies, Kane was pressed on whether he needed to clarify his club future before shifting his full-focus on the Qatar World Cup - his response was eye-opening. "My main focus is finishing this season, I can’t control what’s going to happen in the future," Kane said. "I want to be going into that tournament in the best form possible."

His comments come at a time when Kane is being touted with a move to Manchester yet again, only this time to don the red of United. The speculation stems from the Red Devils reported pursuit of Mauricio Pochettino as their next permanent managerial appointment.
