Harry Kane has called on Tottenham to grind out results when they are not playing well.
In a good position to challenge for a Champions League place after two seasons out of Europe's premier competition, inconsistency has plagued Spurs so far in 2022 and it has seen them fail to take control in the top-four battle.
Following the team's brilliant 3-2 win at champions Man City two weeks ago, Antonio Conte's men followed it up with a 1-0 defeat away at Burnley and it culminated in the head coach questioning his own future.
The same then happened again with Middlesbrough knocking Tottenham out of the FA Cup last week three days after their 4-0 triumph at Leeds.
Needing to string a set of wins together in the final few months if they are to pip their rivals to a top-four finish and keep Conte happy, Kane has outlined what the team must do if they are to improve.
"Consistency is definitely something that we need to improve on as a team," said the striker in Tottenham's official matchday programme. "But it's hard to put your finger on the solution - it's not something that can be fixed with the flick of a switch.
"It takes time, it takes training, working
