Harps-Drogheda postponed due to snowfall

The opening night clash between Finn Harps and Drogheda United in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division has been postponed following heavy snowfall in Donegal overnight.

The Finn Park pitch was initially inspected at 10am this morning by referee Damian MacGraith with a decision held and a further inspection scheduled at 1.30pm.

However, the decision was then taken to postpone the fixture before the second inspection, with the Airtricity League making the call due to "pitch conditions and health and safety concerns."
