Hairy Bikers star Si King details harrowing Dave Myers tribute which left him 'lost for words'

Si King, of The Hairy Bikers fame, graced Thursday's This Morning to prepare a scrumptious beef curry hotpot for hosts Dermot O'Leary and Cat Deeley. Soon after, Si began to reminisce about his best friend Dave Myers.

BBC viewers will soon have the chance to watch a touching documentary next month, celebrating the well-cherished TV personality. The tribute, called The Hairy Bikers: You'll Never Ride Alone, will highlight memorable snapshots from Si and Dave's journey together and their remarkable television tenure.

While Si sizzled up his dish on the show, Dermot inquired if he could share about his forthcoming documentary set to be broadcast over Christmas. Recalling a particularly touching scene involving a convoy of motorcycles, the ITV host asked: "I remember seeing the footage of this 300 or so bikes. How many bikes would do it?"

Astonishingly, Si informed Dermot that the count was at a staggering 46,000 motorcycles, leaving Dermot momentarily lost for words. Following this revelation, Cat Deeley alerted the audience to an exclusive preview of the documentary, and as they watched a meaningful excerpt, emotions ran high.

Upon returning to the studio, visibly affected by the footage, Si was met with Cat describing the tribute as 'spectacular,' while Dermot wondered aloud what that experience felt like, as he commented: "I mean, I've got goosebumps thinking about it now!"

To which Si responded: "You know moments in your life when you can't find the words to describe; there are no superlatives to describe what happened that day.

"It was community, it was love, it was respect, it was fellowship and a massive, massive outpouring of love for my best mate Dave, you know, it was wonderful."
