Habs acquire G Hammond from Wild
The Montreal Canadiens acquired veteran goalie Andrew Hammond from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for AHL goalie Brandon Baddock Saturday morning.

The 34-year-old Hammond last played in the NHL during the 2017-18 season with the Colorado Avalanche. He's appeared in 11 games with the AHL's Iowa Wild this season, posting a 6-2-3 record with a 2.44 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage.
The Surrey, B.C., has played in 56 career games in the NHL with the Ottawa Senators and Avs.
Baddock, 26, was selected by the Habs in the sixth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
