Erling Haaland was recently crowned the Premier League Player of the Month.

Does that come as much of a surprise? Absolutely not because the deadly Manchester City striker has been quite literally record-breakingly good so far this campaign.

England’s top-flight was supposed to be a reality check for the youngster with many of his critics attributing the sheer number of goals he scored to the ‘farmers league’ in which he scored them, but alas, that theory has aged like souring milk under the hot sun.

Here we are, six games and 10 goals later and all we know for sure is that Haaland is in the form of his life.
