Gunther reveals whether Vince McMahon could take on of his famous chops
Vince McMahon has never been one to be shy when it comes to taking WWE Superstar manoeuvres, and one SmackDown star has commented on the possibility of Vince taking his move.
New SmackDown acquisition Gunther, who made his blue brand debut on April 8th edition of the show alongside Imperium stablemate Ludwig Kaiser, is known for being one of the hardest hitters in the game thanks to his devasting chops to opponents.
During a recent interview with Cultaholic, the Austrian was asked if Vince McMahon has ever asked to take one his famous chops, revealing that the WWE Chairman hasn’t yet been in touch regarding his signature spot.
He hasn’t. Nobody ever asked me for one, to be honest [laughs]. It hasn’t happened. No.
Gunther, who as WALTER became the longest-reigning champion in WWE’s modern era with his 870-day reign as NXT UK Champion, does believe though that McMahon could take a chop and praised the boss for his toughess in the ring.
I think he can take it and be fine. He’s a tough man.
76-year-old McMahon showed just how tough he still is at WrestleMania earlier this month. Returning to the ring for an impromptu match with Pat McAfee following the SmackDown commentator’s victory of Austin Theory.
Taking off his jacket to reveal the famous wrestling vest he became known for, McMahon defeated McAfee before arch nemesis Stone Cold Steve Austin interrupted the celebrations and delivered another stunner to Vince and everyone else involved in the segment.
