Guardians, OF Straw agree to five-year extension
The Cleveland Guardians and outfielder Myles Straw have agree to a five-year contract extension, it was announced Saturday.

The deal carries club options for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
The speedy outfielder was acquired last summer in a trade with the Houston Astros and impressed for Cleveland down the stretch of the season, hitting .285 with 13 stolen bases in 60 games.
The 27-year-old spent parts of four seasons with Houston prior to the trade and is a career .266 hitter.
