Greater Manchester's most unloved homes that just can't find buyers

The property market in Greater Manchester has been booming for quite some time now, with high demand and low stock of homes pushing house prices to an all-time high.

Most properties that come onto the market have multiple buyers battling against one another, and in some of the region's hotspot areas, homes are being snapped up within a matter of days.

As such it comes as a surprise that some homes in Greater Manchester are having a hard time finding buyers, with a handful of properties that are still on the market many years after being listed.

It is unknown whether these homes have had little to no interest at all, whether the sellers just aren't happy with the offers that have been put in, or if deals have fallen through - but they have all been on sale for quite some time. Here is list of some of the homes across the region that have been up for sale on Rightmove for up to eight years.

This two-bed apartment is the longest-standing home on the Greater Manchester property market, having been listed for sale back in October 2014 - almost eight years. The listing shows no photos from inside the apartment, which may account for its lack of interest.

The basic description reads: "The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor. The property is located centrally of Cadishead town centre. The property is set in a popular and well established district close to all local amenities including shops and schools, and within 5 minutes of M62/Trafford Centre."

Having been on the market since April 2017, it is unknown why this four-bedroom family home in Cheadle can't find a buyer. The listing, where the home is priced at £415,000, says the home
