A couple of hours before they became world champions, Mags Cremen and Zoe Hyde were dancing in the Irish team tent. A thunderstorm had delayed their double sculls final at the World Rowing Championships.
Would they race in 30 minutes or the following day? They didn’t know, but they had to stay ready. When a new race time was confirmed, they posted on Instagram to let people know.
