GoldenEye 007 Remastered: Everything we know so far
GoldenEye 007 is one of the most iconic games ever made.
The James Bond-licensed first-person shooter remains absolutely adored by fans and is arguably one of the most influential FPS’ ever made.
There have been plenty of rumours down the years of a potential remaster, and we’re finally getting exactly that!
It has been one of those games that fans have been clamouring for, and previous games have tried to ride its coattails, including the 2010 version.
That released on the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, along with the Nintendo DS.
We’ve now got all of the information about a GoldenEye 007 Remaster, and the consoles that the game is coming to. It’s a real thing now, and we’ll soon have the chance to jump back into one of the best FPS’s ever created.

Rare Ltd have tweeted their announcement, confirming that the game is very real, and is coming soon.
This year marks 25 years since the original release and the game will include achievements, 4K resolution and a huge framerate boost, as well as the split-screen local multiplayer that made the game’s competitive element so famous.

Rare announced that they have made a specific effort to optimise the game for Xbox.
However, the game is also set to be released on Nintendo
